I do hope most of you were able to experience
'Sing a Song of Sixpence'
in in the hectic weeks prior to the excesses of Christmas and the New Year. We took our son and grand children and I don't know who enjoyed it most. It was a riot of colour, music and fun; thank you
Derek
your panto touch remains as deft as ever. Congratulations too to the cast and crew. There were excellent performances from the youngest to the eldest and we were especially pleased to welcome new talent!
What Comes Next?
Amazingly we have a production in March which promises to be gripping and equally enjoyable.
Karen Johnston will direct 'Carrie's War'.
It is a touching and involving story of two children who are evacuated during the Second World War. There is a large cast ranging from Carrie and her brother Nick to characters in their fifties.
'The King and I' by Rodgers and Hammerstein
For the uninitiated, that means anyone under 30, this is a musical about Anna, a schoolteacher tutoring the children of the King of Siam. Do we really have a worthy substitute for Yul Brynner!
The 'Cat and the Canary', a thriller, follows in September
Films
